Building a Culture of Generosity through intentional Business

Intro

In the early stages of my business ownership, I perceived my company as a tool to support ministry. However, a significant shift occurred about ten years ago when I realized that my businesses were the primary platform for me to share the gospel and make a positive impact in the world through the marketplace.

The Name

When I was in the 8th grade in a little one-room school in Pennsylvania, there was young intellectually disabled boy named Timmy who attended from time to time to socialize and give his own tutors a break. We became great friends! Timmy had an endearing speech impediment that made his best efforts to say my name sound like ‘Motz’, and a nickname was born. Over the years, the nickname stuck and my family and friends have come to know me as Motz.

About

Hello! My name is Matthew Weaver.

The most important thing to me is my relationship with my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. From that flow the mission and purpose of my pursuits in life, relationships and business.

My family means the world to me and I treasure the life we are building together immensely!

Motz LLC, is the umbrella under which many of my business pursuits are held; ventures that are stewarded with intentionality to impact people through employment opportunities, leadership and personal development, and directly enabling Gospel-centered mission and ministry using the resources we create and have access to.

So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,  being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience.

Colossians 1:10-11 (NIV)
